"Old" Versus "New"

Just ruminating out loud . . . 

Ever been in a project meeting with polar opposites that are more alike than different?

Veteran, seasoned developers who have "been around the block" and believe they know and have seen it all, but are strangely frightened of the new tools and technologies -  and - young, brash, just out-of-school developers who think they also know it all and only the new technologies rock.

Sometimes a blended solution is needed in more than just the learning . . .
