Hi: Is there any standard on how to display written instructions on a slide? My opinion is that instructions should always be in italic either under the heading (aligned to the left) or on the lower left.
Instructions different than tips. Instructions (to me) are essential to the nature of the slide, where tips (an icon or button) is ancillary and enhances the content on the slide.
Hi Debra - there is no standard but if you if are concerned about accessibility by screen readers you should place them at the top left so that they are read first. Other than that it does not really matter.
