Try this on one where all answers are aligned (or if this is the first, on the one with the alignment you want)
1. Right-click the answer choice 2. Go to "Format Shape" 3. Go to Text Box 4. Check the internal left/right margins and note the number down 5. Highlight all problem text boxes and do steps 1-3 again 6. Change the internal left/right margin to the same number as the one you liked
Is the text in the top two choices centered or right-aligned? In Slide View, click in the text box for each of those answer choices and be sure it is left-aligned.
Did you check to see if the first two were indented? In Home > Paragraph, there's icons with text lines and arrows - can you click backward on those two and indent them less?
Would you be permitted to save your file to a temporary file (call it "alignment" or whatever), delete everything from the file but that one slide you attached as a JPG, and post it here to the forum? We can help you troubleshoot this if we have a single-slide .story file.

Hi Virginia!
Try this on one where all answers are aligned (or if this is the first, on the one with the alignment you want)
1. Right-click the answer choice
2. Go to "Format Shape"
3. Go to Text Box
4. Check the internal left/right margins and note the number down
5. Highlight all problem text boxes and do steps 1-3 again
6. Change the internal left/right margin to the same number as the one you liked
Please let me know if this works!
Andrea, thanks for your response. This solution didn't work for me.
Virginia,

They are right and left aligned. When I started to use the solution Andrea provided (ensuring the left and right alignment matched) it didn't work.
Now, I'm just playing with the left and right alignment numbers hoping for alignment.

Another place to look is Paragraph > Line Spacing Options (next to the indent tools), last item in the dropdown
Check Indentation > Before Text
Steve and Andrea,
Eureka! The Home > Paragraph route worked!! BIG THANKS!!
Hope this question helps out others who experience the same challenge.
Yay! Glad it worked! There are a few places alignment can get upset in this app. I hope that we've covered them all :)
Andrea and Steve, thanks so much for lending a hand to Virginia on this one!
:)
