Retry Quiz

Hello all,

Hope everyone is doing well.

I am setting the quiz attempts in the quiz properties to 2. But for some reason it is not limiting the attempts to 2. It keeps giving me the option to try again over and over, beyond 2 attempts. Is there something else that needs to be done to limit the amount of attempts that the trainee gets for taking a quiz? I am thinking I might be missing something

I am having the same issue. I've tried all pass/fail options and limiting the number of attempts in Sumtotal 7.5, but I can launch the quiz an unlimited number of times.

My ultimate goal is to limit the number of attempts to 3 and report a score for each attempt.

Thanks for the tip. Are there similar instructions for limiting attempts without using Presenter? I would rather not create a Presenter file.

Hi Steffanie,

You would need to contact your LMS to troubleshoot how it limits attempts and determines completions and removes a course from someone's course catalog. Those are not functions of the quiz.
