Can you create a space (like a block) where when a student is trying to solve a sum, the student could write and draw in with Storyline? Doesn't have to save or for marking. E.g. if you run a PowerPoint slide show you can choose the "pen" option and then write/draw on the screen or in see in Kahn Academy the little pen and squiggle icon also allow students this option.
