I'm putting the final touches on my video presentation in Articulate Storyline which consists of one slide with three different layers. After the timeline reaches a cue point, the trigger sends it into the next layer. However, the seek bar reaches its end after the 1st layer. Is there anyway to correctly have the seek bar represent the entire presentation? layers 2 and 3?
One thing you may want to try is to go into the Layer Properties and set the Allow Seeking dropdown to No. This should leave the seekbar visible for the entire video. This article about slide layer properties might help you out.
Thank you for your response. Your trick using layer properties worked! The seekbar now starts over for each layer,Thank you. Unfortunately now I cant refresh back to the original layer if the user wants to start the presentation over.
If your on layer one, you can refresh back to the start.
If your on layer two, you can only refresh back to the beginning of layer two.
If your on layer three, you can only refresh back to the beginning of layer three.
The user has no way of getting back to the beginning of the presentation.
I solved the issue by adding a trigger to reset the video back to the base layer.
Another question: I noticed when I preview my project and scroll my curser over the video and click the video screen, it pauses the video. I would like turn off this function. I would like the user to only pause the video by hitting the pause button and not the video screen.

Hi Matt,
One way you can disable the pause/play from working when the user clicks on the video is by placing a hotspot over top of the video.
