Slider Experiment
Oct 22, 2019
I've been working on this experiment which uses 13 linked sliders to control an animation. As you might expect it's a bit slow to load but seems to work well enough on desktops. It's really iffy on other devices. Got it to work in Chrome on an iPad but seems to crash phone browsers (especially Safari). I'm sure it's a combination of the graphic size and number of sliders that are just too much for mobile devices. I thought I'd post it here for people to take a look since it's an interesting technique at least and I can see potential to adapt it for other types of content.

This is excellent Scott. Loads and works perfectly on my Android phone. Thanks for sharing.
I'mintrigued to know how you've done it. Any chance of sharing the source file?
Thanks Justin! Glad to know it works on Android. Source file is attached.
Thanks so much for your generosity Scott. This is super clever & really cool!
I didn't recognise until now that you were the one who had created that lovely sliding block animation too.
Both a skilled coder & with a great design eye. I'm jealous! 😄
Thanks so much for the kind words Justin!
