Slider Variable Control

Hi all,

Does anyone know if you can assign other variables to control a slider? I was just wondering if I could easily use the 'Scene.SlidesViewed' project variable to control the slider, thus giving me an easy way to put a progress bar on the screen.

Any ideas?

I know I can use triggers/custom variables to control them but this would be much simpler if it were possible.
