I've created a crossword activity and one of my layers is a hint system where they can either get a second hint or hover their mouse over the box to show the appropriate letter. This means there are a lot of hover states and clicking to reveal that layer takes almost a minute. Is there another way I can go about this to reduce the load time, or is something glitching or what exactly? Thanks!

Also, you mentioned if there are other ways to go about it. There was an e-learning crossword puzzle challenge that has some additional ideas you could try if you're interested. Some of them are set up so the learner can click on a specific word and then it pops up on a layer. From there, the learner can hover for hint, get a clue, or type the answer. That would reduce the amount of layers and maybe speed things up. Just an idea!
I played around with it and it seems that the lag is caused mostly by the number of input boxes, so while reducing the number of layers does speed it up a little, its still pretty rough. I'll share it with the support team and ask.
