Hey Russell.... this is awesome work. I was trying to build up something similar but with a tweak that if the answer in incorrect, the position should not change and if i answer correctly only then it should. Any suggestions in that ?
I decided to try and combine the 1-4 player version that you have kindly provided with a version that was created that asks questions when the user(s) land on the snakes or ladders. I appear to have run into the same issue that Best Navid experienced earlier in this thread, whereby when one of the users lands on one of the snakes and ladders and they have answered the question, the dice automatically rolls and lands on the same number as the go before. Do you know how I might be able to fix this?
I have attached the version that I'm working with if you wanted to take a look. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry for the late reply. I was away for a little bit because I went for surgery. Then when I got back to work I had to get caught up on a couple of projects.
I hope the surgery went well, Russell! Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to answer questions. Snakes and Ladders was always a favorite of mine. 🙂
Each table cell has the same width. Once I determined the number of pixels wide a cell is, I set the motion path length to that many pixels. The motion path is set to a relative start point.
Thanks for quick response. I have adapted the game for kids to practice yoga poses. Each cell triggers a video with a different pose. They will love it!

Here you go.
Here's another version of the game that allows a choice of between 1 and 4 players.
Amazing as always. Great job!

Hello Christian,
Sorry for the late reply. I was away for a little bit because I went for surgery. Then when I got back to work I had to get caught up on a couple of projects.
Take a look at this story file.

Many thanks! Great job! all the best.
Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed. Just one thing I don't understand:
How is the XPosition variable mapped with the table cells ? I don't see how the XPosition relates to a physical space on the slide...
Thank you.

Ok I get it now!
