Storing Variables in a SQL database

Dec 20, 2017

Hi all,

Our company is looking to expand how we use Articulate. We want to look into the possibility of using Storyline for a lot more of our front end learning content and want to store lots of variables into a SQL database. The main reason for doing this is we have a lot of existing content developed in Flash and the speed at which we can create content in Storyline is so much easier and quicker.

Currently we use Storyline to store True/False variables to show the progress of a learner through individual modules so I'm confident we can do it. But before we go down this road I wanted to reach out to see if anybody had any war stories when trying to achieve this so we can avoid similar mistakes and work to best practice.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Jack
