System Simulations and GDPR regs on Personal Data

Hi,
Not strictly an Articulate query but it may have impacted other designers.
I've produced eLearning which has recorded Customer information on screen and then published it to our LMS where it is accessed by our internal members of staff. I've been advised that this is not GDPR compliant and feel it is too rigid an interpretation of the rules around Personal Data. Has anyone else had similar feedback and found a solution?
I'm UK based and we are and will remain under the umbrella of the General Data Protection act now law in the EU.
Thanks, Wayne

Have you asked the data controller? If they say it is OK they are responsible for dat in your organisation for GDPR
It's the data controller who is questioning it so I'm just wondering if anyone else has had to adapt eLearning or if I've been unlucky and have encountered a stickler for the rules who's being a bit rigid.
I would say you need to change it the data controller who ultimately has the final say. I have had to obscure data in the past, I would just import into Photoshop and add a blur (easy to do now by editing in the media library). He may be being too rigid, but he is responsible
Thanks Phil, good to hear that you've gone through something similar.
