If you want to make sure that the asset will show until the end, look at the asset where it meets the end of the timeline. If there is a small arrow, this indicates it will show until the end. You can set this by right clicking on the asset in the timeline and choosing Show until End in the menu.

Do you want to to go all the way to the end?

And if you select Show Always, it will show from the beginning to the end.
