Updated solutions for creating a Storyline leaderboard?

I've been experimenting with creating a game in Storyline, and after browsing these discussions, I thought a cool feature to incorporate into it would be a leaderboard that would display the highest scores of those who play the game. I've scoured these forums and Google in general, and the solutions are somewhat scarce; most solutions provided are several years old, so I was wondering if anyone has an updated solution for how to create one? Unfortunately I'm not a JavaScript expert, so I'm unable to write my own code, but I could follow steps if anyone has written anything up about how to create one. I've also seen widgets suggested as a possible solution, but I'd rather the data be hosted somewhere internally if possible. Thank you in advance!
