User progress/tracking

Apr 27, 2023

I am looking to create a Digital Support Coach so that users can be coached and guided through courses.  I would like them to be able to see which courses they have completed, which they have started, how much they have left to complete (essentially track their progress) and what resources are available to them.

For example I have 4 courses, all of which must be completed by users but at their own pace.  Each course has set outcomes, requires x amount of hours of study, has a number of resources including videos, study plans etc with them.  I would like users to be able to see what they have completed, when they completed it, how long it took them as well as seeing the detail of the course they are currently working on.

Any ideas? Creating in Rise and scorming seems quite 'flat' and won't give the user the overall picture.  Do I need Storyline for this?  I am using Moodle LMS.  Many thanks

Hello Jeff! 👋 Thanks for posting here! It sounds like your LMS might be the best way for learners to keep track of which courses they completed and such....but since I'm not all that familiar with Moodle, perhaps someone in the community who has more experience with that will have some ideas to share. But I do want to share a few Storyline 360 resources on how to display learner progress in Storyline 360 and how to track time learners spend in training, in case it helps.
