I'm looking to showcase some of my work for future job prospects, but I don't know how to do this without an LMS. I use both Storyline and Presenter '09. I don't need to track completion and do not need users to register.
I use Wordpress to host the output files of Storyline projects. Then, I take the URL and put it on my blog so users can click it and take a look at my portfolio work. If you have specific questions about creating a portfolio, just let us know!
Exactly! Blue Host is what I use and it's pretty easy because it has a "one click Wordpress install". Although, others may have other hosting suggestions.
Here's a link to another discussion on portfolios that could give you some inspiration from some phenomenal portfolios. Please note: They mention hosting files in the public folder of dropbox, but dropbox disabled that for new accounts. So, unless you already have dropbox and it's an older account, this isn't an option.

So the first thing would be to find a web host and buy/setup a personal domain space, then use word press to host the output files?

So, for example, my portfolio link is http://www.learningreinvented.net/portfolio-highlights/. That is hosted on Blue Host where my Wordpress account is installed. I uploaded the published files to my Blue Host account and get a link to the .html file. Then, I just insert images (the ones you see on my portfolio page) and hyperlink those images to go to the link that Blue Host gave me (Example: http://learningreinvented.net/Using%20Social%20Media%20to%20Market%20Your%20Small%20Business%20output/story.html).
