Windows 10 Video Editing App

Jan 16, 2019

In the past I have used Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Camtasia. Most recently I have been using LumaFusion on my iPad which has spoiled me.

I recently started a new job for a non-profit with minimal budget.  I have convinced management that Storyline 360 is a necessary expense. However, I need to be able to do video editing.  Requirements are brightness, contrast, and key-frameing.  Does anyone have a modern recommendation that falls into the freeware category?

Hi Michael,

Davinci Resolve might be a tool to check out!  The free version lacks some of the tools included in the full paid version, but it's still pretty full featured and seems it may meet your requirements.

One potential challenge would be its system requirements, which are a bit more robust than Camtasia or other tools like Wondershare Filmora.

I hope this helps!
