Articulate Storyline Sequence Drag and Drop Problem

Hi everyone,

I've got this problem in Storyline with one of the questions in a question bank.
It is a Sequence Drag-and-Drop and the first time I get to this question it works fine, as I can drag and move the various options up and down in any order and then click the SUBMIT button. Now as part of my testing process, I deliberately fail this question as I want to go back to it when I get to the Results screen and then click RE-TAKE Assessment button that takes me all the way back to the start so that I can test this one question again. However when I get to it, I find that I cannot move these options anymore as they appear locked. This is a question towards the end of the test and I have set it to have unlimited attempts. When I edit the Question bank, I set the option of this question to "Reset to Initial State" when revisiting. But to no avail. I have even change this option to "automatically decide" with mixed results.

Have anyone on these forums experienced this problem and knows how to fix this so that with a Sequence Drag-and-Drop question, I can get unlimited attempts?

    You should reset results with the "Reset Results Quiz Results" trigger. The default SL "Retry Quiz" button would normally do that. I suggest you uploading a clean version of your slides in question so someone can take a closer look.

    Keith,

    I was not able to reproduce this issue. I deliberately failed that question. On the Results screen, I clicked the RETAKE THE ASSESSMENT button that took me all the way back to the start. I was able to move all options in a Sequence Drag-and-Drop interaction, they did not appear locked. See the attached video. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong or different then you do in your test.

      Hi Nedim,

      Thank you very much for testing this. However, the problem is manifested on our own LMS. Do you have an LMS on your end? If so, then could you please install it on there and test?

        I'm happy to jump in and appreciate Nedim's help so far! We also test in SCORM Cloud to rule out an LMS issue. If the problem happens in the LMS but not in SCORM Cloud, we can conclude that the issue is with the LMS and you can reach out to the LMS administrator for assistance.     I normally test it in the ScormCloud. I attached another video recording of your assessment being tested in the ScormCloud with the same result. No issue reproduced.

      Hi Nedim,

      Thank you very much for testing. Just another question though...

      When you do the Assessment on the LMS, if you get let's say to Question5 without submitting an answer and then close the window to exit the course etc, if you relaunch do you automatically go back to Question5 (where you left off). We seem to be having an issue on our SuccessFactors LMS where if you do this, if you relaunch you just get a white blank screen. Now, I don't think that it is the module itself but... maybe there is a problem with our LMS. Do you have any idea as to what this could be?

    I tested it according to your instruction but no issue was reproducible. Do you see "Prompt to resume" at all when you relaunch? Do you receive any kind or error that may point you to the right direction? Does it happen in more browsers? It's definitely something with your LMS but have no idea what may cause this issue. Maybe something with the LMS Launch method. You would probably get a white blank screen when you relaunch a new instance of a course while the previous instance of the same course is still running in the background. Like it has never been properly closed.
