I have a desktop storyline 360 app and publish courses in LMS/LRS SCORM 1.2.
I review the course in story html (compatible in chrome and Microsoft edge).
The storyline app is up to date too.
While I swap between browsers, the video is paused but audio plays.
Need guidance on how to resolve this issue.

The behavior you described is not the expected behavior. When you navigate away from the tab, the audio should pause.
I'd like to understand your testing procedure better. Do you publish to LMS and open the story.html file directly in a browser? Published LMS outputs are meant to be uploaded to an LMS to work correctly. What happens if you upload the published output to an LMS? You can use SCORM Cloud as a testing LMS.
