Auto play audio in Rise?
Is it possible to make an audio clip auto play in Rise? And if so, how can I do this?

I would like to also vote for the autoplay here. For those who are computer illiterate this is a key part to teach navigation. I literally would have people looking at the play button asking "what do I do?"

I have created the storyline block and have imported that block into RISE, but how do I enable the Autoplay feature with the storyline block that's imported to RISE? The learner still has to press "Play" to initiate the storyline block. This is what I would like to avoid and instead, when the learner scrolls to this storyline block, imported into RISE, I would like for it to play for them.

+1 for autoplay (and just a notice: not all of your customers make note here, most of them (us :-| ) simple started to look for other tool)

+1 to upvote enabling autoplay for media files like audio - in a sense it's no different than starting a video right? For example, in the process block, I have narration that matches the text on screen so it's accessible. But it's a clunky UI asking a learner to click the process step button to advance, click an audio file play button, click the next step process button, etc. They just won't. So, yes please, feature request :)

When will audio autoplay be available in Rise 360 - there is overwhelming support for this functionality? Thanks

If video auto-plays (as it does), audio needs to match it. It makes no sense at all that our video is playing automatically, but our audio won't start until the user clicks. We spent an incredible amount of time and effort timing everything perfectly in Storyline...

I have found a solution to have the audio played automatically within Rise. The audio plays automatically when the storyline block loads/appears onscreen. I am using text-to-speech, and then I create a trigger for the audio to start at the beginning of the timeline. I have reviewed it, and it works perfectly! This does require you to import your storyline block into Rise.

Good tip, yes it does work, however it significantly disrupts the Rise layout if you want to use the block for audio only.

Yes, I agree, I have started to use storyline blocks when audio is needed. This takes a little more time due to needing to convert the RISE block to the Storyline. It allows the course to become more dynamic.
I have also become a little more creative with adding audio to the imported storyline block, but it aligns with another block later in the course, so from the learner's experience, they may have a seamless experience.

If an autoplay audio/narration feature was added to Rise in the future perhaps this could be set to Disabled as a default to get around the current policy?

I would also like to see autoplay added as an option. Ultimately creators need choice.
