Can anyone help me troubleshoot this states issue?
Please see my attached slides. My question is about the states of the circular buttons.
On Slide 1, the buttons are working exactly the way I want them to. On hover, the ovals and icons move in unison, and on selection, they remain down and blue until unselected.
On Slide 2, I believe I have replicated states and triggers exactly, and yet the buttons are not behaving the same way. Note that states fall out of sync depending on whether your cursor is over the oval or icon, and button will revert from selected to hover if you hover without unselecting.
To add to my confusion is that Slide 2's buttons seem to behave differently every time I copy the slide. On my original, the sync problem is not occurring--only the reverting to hover.
Can anyone help me solve this issue? TIA!
Trying to control state changes for objects in groups is complicated and often causes problems.
You could simplify your slides by using just one object for each button. For example, create an oval, and then paste the appropriate icon directly into its states. Refer to this post for more info:
