I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with file corruption and manually pasting content.
You can import your slides into a new Storyline course, which will include all the resources in the slides.
Regarding the file corruption, I'd like to confirm if you're working on your local drive. Working on a network drive can cause erratic behavior. If the problem still occurs, try these steps to fix installation issues.
If the issue persists, we'd be glad to investigate further. You may share one of the affected Storyline projects here or privately in a support case, where our Support Engineers will work with you one-on-one. We'll delete it when we're done testing.
