Cannot upload video file - mp4
Hi - I'm trying to upload an mp4 video to a Rise course. It's 2.86GB. 1920x1080.
I keep getting an error.

I've cleared my cache, tried a different browser, different PC. No luck. The file name has no special characters, spaces, etc. Just 5 letters.
Hi Carmie,
Sorry to hear that you ran into this snag. The maximum file size for a video that you can upload to Rise 360 is 5 GB, so file size shouldn't be an issue. One troubleshooting step that you can do is to re-encode your video using a tool called Handbrake. Here's a helpful video with instructions on how to use the tool.
If re-encoding your video doesn't work, would you be willing to share a copy of your video file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

Hi Jose,
I opened a case Friday and am working with Articulate support.
Thanks,

Hi,
I have the exact same problem with Rise. The naming is correct, it is under 1GB, but Rise shows me an error message when I try to upload it.
Did you find the answer to this problem?
Thanks,
NinaHello Nina,
Sorry to hear about the error message you received when uploading your video to Rise 360. I'm happy to help!
I looked up Carmie's case, and it's possibly network-related, as one of her coworkers was able to upload the same video. I recommend using a different network when uploading your video to see if it helps.
If the problem persists, you may re-encode your video using Handbrake before uploading it to Rise. This step is helpful when the problem is video-related. We can also assist with the re-encoding if you prefer. You can upload the video to Amazon S3 or Google Drive and share the link here or privately in a support case.
