Change Direction of Labeled Graphic Popover
The main complaint learners have is that these popover descriptions always cover the content they're targeted towards. Is there any way to swap the direction?
Agreed. It would be very helpful to have the marker content box open away from the center. Or, even better, have a setting within the marker so the design can set which way the box opens, right or left.
I'd also like options about where the description appears. It's covering the graphic no matter where I place the markers.

+1 for this in 2024. I'm working on a course for cervical cancer awareness and there is no good spot to place my labels that don't cover the most important part of the graphic, as it always covers the center of the screen.

The direction of the item is based on where they appear on your image and the devices you're viewing the course on. The label will open to the left or right, depending on how far from center the marker is placed.
I've noticed that it changes based on which side the item is, but it seems backwards to me. If content is expected to appear near the center of an image, these items are just about guaranteed to cover up any small to medium content.
If each item opened away from the center, instead of towards it, I could probably make it work without covering up the content

I would also love to be able to set the direction that the popover opens. It often conceals the next button, which is irritation.
I created a Theme Component for this purpose- first to make the markers smaller, and custom text detail panel. The text panel is also a bit transparent so you can still see underneath it, depending on screen size there's sometimes still going to be a bit of overlap with the text panel.
