Change Font Size in Sequence Drag and Drop Graded Questions
I create lots of graded questions that are sequence drag and drop and matching questions. I'd really like to decrease the font size on the answer options. -- the answer and question options that get matched up or placed into sequence. It would be nice to have more question options listed on the screen without having to scroll. And, when the font size of the actual answers is larger than the question itself, it looks funny.
I have not been able to locate a way in the the Form View or the Slide View to change the font size of answers. It seems that once the answers are entered in the Form View that it becomes an uneditable text book. Is there a way to change the font size of answer options?
Here's an example of a sequence drag and drop question with the answer being larger than the question font.
Hi, everyone!
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Build 3.80.30988.0, we've included important fixes and new features.
One fix included in this update:
- Font sizes shrunk for sequence drop-down answers when previewed or published.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help!

This known problem from over three years ago was not corrected in 360?
Hi Helene and Alexander,
This issue is still present in Storyline 3/360 as well - and it's based on using a custom story size to something much larger and the text size changes. I'll make sure our team knows that the issue is still visible there so that we can take a look at this again.
Depending on priority and risk, some bugs can be fixed quickly, while others take longer to resolve. Here's more information on how we identify and tackle bugs.
I’ll let you know as soon as we have an update on this issue. Thanks so much again for letting us know about this, and I’m sorry if it’s slowing you down.

Hi everyone, just to let you know I have the same issue as well (In Storyline 2)
Using a custom template and in the slide view, the font is 24 point and yet when previewing, the text size of the answers is only about 12 point. Strangely it only happens with 'Sequence Drag and Drop' it is fine on the 'Matching Drag and Drop' if that helps.
Thanks Mike for sharing here.
Once a bug is reported, here's how we tackle it. We're careful about testing new updates to make sure we don't put other features at risk.
We'll keep you posted once there is more information to share.

Hi has this issue been fixed? I am using the 360 version and putting together a Drag & Match graded quiz. Where the words on the left need to match "Paragraphs" on the right. The paragraphs are hard to read and I cannot edit the size to make it readable, Is there another option to increase the size? Thanks.
Hi Babita,
The matching drag-and-drop objects are a fixed size, so it sounds like a Freeform drag-and-drop interaction is a better choice for you. With a freeform interaction, you can customize the objects any way you like!

I'm having the same problem. Very frustrating, How come this problem has been dragging on for so long?! What's the latest update on this issue please?
Hello Cillista! Sorry to hear that you've run into a similar problem. We do have an issue reported to our team where the answer choices display smaller on preview and publish.
Is that the issue you are experiencing as well?
What version of Storyline are you using?

Yes, the issue is the same as the original creator of the thread. In the drag and drop sequence it doesn't matter what size you set the font, it displays as a very small font size in preview. I haven't tried publishing because usually what you see is what you get anyway. I'm using Storyline 2.
Hi Cillista,
Since this thread was originally about Quizmaker and you're using Storyline 2, I'd like to start fresh. Here's an example of a Sequence Drag and Drop question in Edit Mode and in Preview Mode. Do these screenshots look different than what you're seeing?
If so, can you share your original Storyline 2 file so we can take a closer look? Thanks!
