Closed captions not appearing
Not sure what happened with the last update, but now closed captions are not appearing on my video.
The project is a single slide, video dropped in and the srt file uploaded.
when i look at the captions editor all the captions are there, when I preview the file, the first caption appears then nothing after that.
This issue started today after the update, didn't have the issue earlier today when i did the exact same process.
anyone else seeing this?
this is what support sent me,
https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-360/articles/articulate-360-user-guide-how-to-install-launch-desktop-authoring-apps#install-previous-versiondid the rollback and it works fine now.

I just ran the latest update. It has fixed the issue.
Thank you! - ErnieHohengasseCommunity Member
Any update on this. Update 91 has its own issues as noted by Larry. The captions will start and then the CC button will go away. Clicking Prev brings it back for a while and then it will go away. For the time being, I am running the last July update.
Hi ErnieHohengasse & ShawnMcCreight!
Sorry to hear you've run into this setback!
It would be easier to troubleshoot this behavior if we could see copies of the .story files that are giving you trouble. Do you mind sharing that here in the discussion or privately through a support case?
We'll let you know as soon as we receive it!

I am also experiencing the cc button in the player randomly appearing and disappearing. I reverted back to the July 30 version and it is present on all slides as expected.

Hi Everyone:
Hoping someone can help me. I have a few slides where there is multiple audio clips.
Each slip has the closed captioning. The clips DO NOT OVERLAP each other and I have never had an issues in the past when I have done this.
After (What I think was due to a recent update), I now see multiple lines of closed captioning.
The CC in the black bar is what I normally see on a good day. Now I see the other two (with the arrows) appear.
I have checked the entire contents of the slide, there is nothing hiding anywhere. Can someone help?
If I only have one audio clip, it does not happen.
Thanks
Hi NancyMiranda,
Sorry to hear that you ran into this issue. We are currently tracking a bug in Storyline 360 that causes closed captions to stack on top of each other when using the seekbar to scrub through the timeline. Would you mind confirming if this is what's happening in your case so we can add you to the bug report? If you're experiencing something else entirely, please open a case with our support team here so we can request a copy of your project file for testing.

Hi Jose:
I have opened a case with Articulate. I have also done some more testing and have somewhat pinpointed when it happens.
Lets say I have a video that is 3 minutes long and there is narration in those 3 minutes. I extend the video, and overlay the uploaded narration. That's when the two closed caption lines appear. This only happened after the latest update to Storyline 2025. See image attached.
