Dante - Did Not Pass - not completing

Hi all,

I am having a bit of challenge with a SL360 module that my client has uploaded to Moodle. It is around completion tracking. I've added a 'completed/passed' trigger to the exit button on the last slide as there is no end of module quiz and set 'Using triggers' in the Tracking options.

The client is saying that the learner has completed but still giving a 'Did not pass' value to the database.

I am beginning to think it is a Moodle issue but don't know enough about Moodle. Any ideas?

I could hack it by adding a results slide with a 0% pass mark that plays in the background before the final slide but would rather solve the actually problem.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Len

PS: I set the completed variable to trigger when timeline starts on the last slide, just in case learners are closing it manually without hitting my exit button but not convinced that is the problem.

Sorry, I made a mistake, apparently my client is using Dante LMS not Moodle

  • Hi, Len.
    Thank you for reaching out!

Working with an LMS can be very specific, so we recommend first testing your course with SCORM Cloud. Check out this step-by-step article!

If your course works as expected in SCORM Cloud, then I would advise you to reach out to Dante for more information on their settings.

If you still see the same behavior in SCORM Cloud, or if you need help testing your project, my recommendation would be to open a support case here.

Let me know if this works!
