Help: Object state not changing when trigger is timeline reaches object.
I am unable to get the level result indicators to trigger. I can only get the individual level result indicators to trigger when I set them to change from "Hidden" to "Normal" at the beginning of the Timeline, but then the animations trigger early. If I set them to trigger when the timeline reached the object, then nothing happens.
Am I missing something?
It is similar to this issue but there doesn't seem to be a working answer: "change state when timeline reaches" isn't working | Articulate - Community

I'm not fully sure what you are try here but try this.
Add a new state "Disable", then change your initial state from Hidden to Disable and see if that does what you want.
Good luck

Thank you for the suggestion.
I don't this disabled will work in this case. I want the object to be invisible to the learner unless they earn a specific score on each level.
On the Level Map (a different slide) I used similar "coding" and the triggers to switch the state activated at the beginning of the timeline, but the animation of the object showed only once the timeline hit the object.
In this slide it is triggering at the beginning of the slide even though the object is later on the timeline. I am wondering if the fact that this is a results slide is affecting it.- EricSchaffer-d1Community Member
They might be staying hidden looking for the results. Let me play with this a while and see what I can find.

I have played with this, and I think I would need the full test to generate some values for the results. I understand what you are trying to do, and it should work. One thing I tried was to change the variable to something I could input, and I was able to get one box to change. One thing I would try is to put a text box someplace you can see it, add the variable to it so you can see what the slide is seeing. Once you fix the issue you can remove it.

Thank you for the time you are taking to help me. The states of the shapes are triggered by custom values triggered by each level's submission. I do not like using built in variables due to the issue you are describing above, it is impossible to test without play the whole training. For this copy of the issue, I have already set the custom variables values for each level to see how they interact when I am testing it.
