Image link in Rise
Why is it not possible to add a link to an image in Rise? This seems like a basic feature.

Come on developers at Articulate this is must. Having hyperlinked text is old school, at the very least we should have the option to hyperlink an image (also to adjust its size so it's not just limited to 25, 50, 75 & 100%). This request has been over 3 years in the making and still no progress...

I agree. Rise is a nice tool but come on now. Seems like Rise.com took precedent over Rise 360. It's getting a bit noisy in here but I still see nothing happening as far as the MANY common sense type requests, including many that are considered "mainstream essential" by any 2021 standards.

Honestly, what's the use of a subscription-based product when features continually requested by customers are ignored?
Really? Over 3 years and no movement on this?? This is not an isolated incident, there are MANY requests that are ignored (years old requests).

I agree, I'm personally tracking a number of bugs or requests for "features" that, like this one, should be considered basic functionality. Many of them have pages of users begging for some kind of movement but they have been ignored for years.
What can we do to make Articulate listen to us? If anyone has suggestions, I'm listening!

Switch to another product? I did a quick search of top authoring tools, it's shocking how far down the rankings Articulate has fallen in many of these lists.
As someone said before, 'Sorry for my sharp tone'. But this really feels disrespectful to your customers to have basic features, requested for years, completely ignored.

Hi, new to articulate. Yep, surprised that after so many years (going by this thread) that there is still no way to make an image a link. For example redirecting to a survey site I want learners to be access. I have a nice image illustrating a redirect to a survey but no way to make it a link. I do not want to use a text link at all.
Can I ask why this hasn't been created yet? With so many people asking for it and all.
Thanks

Resolved the issue by using the workaround "adding a Storyline block".
But it's starting to be annoying that the only solutions to a lot of my problems are workarounds founded by the community and not real solutions bringed up/added by articulate...

my comments appear to have been reported? greyed out my reply. Shady I tell ya.
---It was always pretty shocking/insulting when the staff asks US why we need a certain feature. Are they not an eLearning company??? I believe this is just a stalling tactic. Shady how silent the staff have been on this thread considering the demand for this BASIC 'feature'.
I asked this 9 MONTHS ago, crickets.
"What is the rational for ignoring this basic 'feature' request?"I am already getting a new laptop soon with Adobe products on it. I plan to do the same thing, MAYBE use Articulate here and there, but not as the primary authoring tool.
Then again I don't think a subscription expense for this out-of-date product (Articulate) is worth it, will probably just dump Articulate company-wide.- JuliaMaysCommunity Member
I noticed that too. Very interesting.

I hope that all of you here have taken (or will take) a few minutes to file a feature request for this.

Kind of funny (in a sad way) that several years later there has been no progress (and likely never will be) made on such a simple feature request.
I like this product and have paid my fees for years but it's starting to feel quite limited and dated.
Hi JC!
What kind of lesson or block are you using? Although there isn't a feature that will allow you to hyperlink an image, you could include a hyperlink in text near the image. For example, you can hyperlink within the accompanying text in a Process Interaction. My colleague Ashley recorded a quick video of this in Peek for how to set this up!
I can certainly see a use case for hyperlinking images, and it's an idea worth sharing with our developers in the form of a feature request. Thanks for letting us know how we can make things better!
Thanks for adding your voice, Martin! ☺️
Just to confirm, are you looking for an option to add a hyperlink to an image that jumps to another part of the project, or goes outside of the Rise course? I want to make sure I capture your thoughts accurately before I share them directly with our product team!
