Issues with video
Hi.
I'm having issues when exporting my storyline file to video. I have a video inside the storyline project and then it's paused along the way with explanations, when I preview this in storyline (or review) it works s it should, but once I export it to a video the video I've added restart after the pausing. Is this possible to solve or do I need to use review?

When you publish a .story file as a video, the result is an MP4 video file. An MP4 can't pause itself, and it doesn't allow for interactivity (except for standard video controls).

Okay, thanks. I was hoping to post it to workplace as well as the LMS. It does not have any interactivity for the learner, but it does have different layers etc. I'll just find a way with review then.

You could break up the original video into separate, shorter video files. Put the "explanations" in-between those segments (for example, on the Timeline of one slide, or via putting items on their own slides that advance automatically). You'll have to decide how long the explanations should be seen. That should work for publishing the entire project as a video.
Basically, if you can preview the entire course without clicking anything to continue, it should work as a video.
