Looping Video Glitch

Hi everyone,

I am encountering an issue with a looping video I am using as a background. I have tried multiple ways including play media when media completes trigger.

When I run the scene it will repeat once then stop. I have also published to 360 and still having the same issue. How can I fix this and create an endless loop?

Thanks, Lorna

  • Hello everyone! 🎉

I have some great news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 91, we’ve included important fixes and new features. One of the bugs we’ve fixed:

    • Videos didn’t loop when designed to do so

Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Please let me know if you need additional help.

  • This bug appeared (videos no longer looping using the "play media > when media completes" trigger) some time around march this year, and was subsequently fixed in versions since then, however since this latest update or the one before that the bug has reappeared - you're definitely right that it's something that has previously been resolved!

  • Hi everyone,

Thanks for following up on this and detailing what you're experiencing. Our team is tracking a bug where the trigger to loop a video works only once. The current workaround is to downgrade to Update 89.  We'll update this discussion as soon as we have news of a fix and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
