Microlearning Distribution

Hi Gary,
A Microlearning is really just a Rise course with a single Lesson.
Think of a Rise course (and a Microlearning) as a "read-only-file" that contains instructional content. Once exported the course can't be modified or added to.
For this reason you can't (and shouldn't) save student tracking data to the static course content.
To save tracking data per student you would need to host the course within a system (like a LMS) that is capable of saving tracking data in individual student accounts.

Thank you!
Hi there, Gary. Karl is correct -- you'll want to publish your Microlearning for LMS and host it on a learning management system to track who has viewed the Microlearning content!

Thank you. So as far as you know, Articulate is not planning on offering a way to track participant engagement/course completion, and we still need to use an outside LMS (in other words, Rise is just the authoring tool).

Hi Gary,
This is the key concept: "Rise is just the authoring tool".
Rise is used to create content. That's it.
For everything else including student management, tracking, reporting, etc., you need to use your Rise course within a LMS/LRS.
