Notes Section in Older Version of Articulate

Hi all...I am updating a course that seems to have been produced in an older version of Articulate. As currently designed, there is a transcript tab in a side menu that is not working. I added notes that I wanted to show in the menu bar and remove the transcript icon, but I cannot get the notes to show up in the menu. I've gone into the player, the slide properties, etc.

Yes, I am going mad. 

I can provide the course here if needed for guidance.
