Publishing course problem

Hi e-learning heroes,

I have a problem publishing my course to Scorm 1.2.

I tried publishing it to Review 360, publishing seemed OK, but I can not review because there is a notification saying: This item is still processing and will be shown here automatically when ready.

The error is attached.

An update to the newest version of SL did not solve the problem

Hope for some good advice ;-)

  • try to publish to another folder - storyline crashes by creating a directory (InternalCreateDirectory)

Thank you, this solved my (first) problem!

I have a new problem with the course:  it stucks when jumping from one scene to another. The triggers are good.

I think I will try to repair storyline first!

  • Hi Berend,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue when trying to publish your course! This shouldn't be happening, and I'm happy to help troubleshoot.

    • Are you working on and saving your project from your local drive? Working from a network drive can cause erratic behavior.
    • Have you tried to repair Storyline?

Please let me know if you need further assistance on this! You can reach us here or privately in a support case.

  • if the error message appears - please click on the blue text button "information", then a second window will open with more informations

just copy the text from the second window and post it here.

  • <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>

  • After repairing storyline the problem exists. I found that the problem is not the jumping to the scene but in a results slide. To fix this I copied a new results slide from a working course. The training still crashes on this particular results slide.
