Quotation Marks in Rise 360
Does anyone know if the quotation marks in the Quotes block can be removed?
I want to use the quote block, without the quote marks.
Please advise. /jc

Agreed. Support the idea of removing the quotation marks or giving the flexibility to alter format and colour. Seems this issue has been on the wait (and want) list for sometime. :) Hoping this might happen soon?

I would like to see the removal option as well. Or AT LEAST, a way to change colors!!

For anyone who's following this thread, I'm using a work around for the project I'm on now.
Quote blocks B & D allow you to leave either the quote or the author's name blank. You can type your statement, instructions, etc. in one of those fields, delete the other, and adjust your font size so it looks cohesive with the rest of your design. It may look like alignment is off when you're editing, but when you preview, everything sorts out nicely.
It won't help everyone, but it's something to experiment with while we wait for this update.

Thanks for the tip, Holly. I had a folder of icons I couldn't use before. You win Workaround of the Year!

Hello everyone. This frustrated me as well. However, place your text in the name section as opposed to the quote section and you will get what you are looking for.

It's really strange that such an easy request couldn't be solved for 3 years.

I'm adding my input hoping the dev team sees there is a lot of interest in making the quotes optional. Please make them optional!

And here we are one year later still waiting to have quotes removed :-(

+1 to this! We need to be able to remove the quotation marks. At the very least, we need the ability to change the quotation marks to symbols used in other languages (e.g., French angle quotes). The current limitations make this problematic for our French language courses.
Hey, Ellen! Right now, there isn't a way to remove the quotes on the Quote Block. We're tracking this request, so thanks for letting us know it's important for you!

It doesn't seem like this would be a large request. Maybe the development team can squeeze it in among the more pressing issues?

Similar question about quotes but mine question is about the 'quote on image' quote block. There is only 1 quote mark on the left side. Is that how it's supposed to be and look?
