Hi Peter,
Looks interesting, but being in a corporate context, I need to have the software vetted before it can be installed.
Do you have any personal experience with them? (or anyone else, for that matter)
The website Home | Home (vabtm8.wixsite.com) and the yahoo-contact-mail do not inspire a lot of trust, to be honest...
If it does what is promised, it could be very helpful though, but our IT are very cautious even checking for the region where servers are located through which the data run... (that is apparently something that can be chosen in the software, according to the screenshots in the MS store). If we want to run internal content through anything, we need to be sure it is safe.
Anyway, thanks for posting!
P. D. actually, I still think it should be articulate's task to keep the translation features of their software up to date instead of relying on third-party solutions born out of desperation.
Felix, I've found that the Hero apps do everything claimed on the tin. I've been using 1SHOT to generate English TTS voiceover via OpenAI and then translating all of the text content and captions to Spanish using Microsoft Azure services.
The developer has joined me on Zoom calls to assist with setup and gather feedback so I'm sure he'd be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Feel free to DM me and I can put you in touch with him.

Peter,
just saw your email, thank you. Let's hope my IT dept. don't take ages to ver the software. From what I saw it is actually running locally, but we are very careful with new software generally...
Having a direct contact and someone who has used their programs before successfully should help in the process.
