Restricted navigation within layers and alignment with base layer

Based on the conditions you mentioned, I was able to get scene 6, slide 6.2, to work. You were almost there, but a few unnecessary triggers had to be deleted, while some necessary triggers were missing. You can replicate it to your other slides if this is how you want the slide action.
Would like to add that I do not understand certain Chevron states and their purpose, as I took this e-learning from my predessor and have no contact with them now. May be the states were created to facilitate what I am trying to do.

Just curious to know about a rectangle placed outside the slides. How does it work? Does it really work? Why is this placed like that?
I think the person who created this elearning created triggers on that rectangle object, rather than at slide level. I just removed it from slide 6.2 and it didn't make a difference, as I had moved the triggers to layer level. You can remove that rectangle from slide 6.3, and use triggers on the layer, similar to what I did on slide 6.2.
I'm not sure why the rectangle object was used, but it's not required and can be removed to simplify the project.
