Hello Jacob,
Happy to look into this for you!
I tested the style function for the Note block in Rise 360 and it appears to be working correctly. Here's a quick recording of my test.
As a troubleshooting step, can you try clearing your browser's cache or using a different browser to see if this fixes the issue? If it persists, please make a Peek 360 recording of what you're experiencing so we can take a closer look at the behavior.

Hi there
I have a client who wants an alternative color background for their Rise course (off-white #F2F2EB). I can do this by changing each block to this custom color but if I change the Note block it gets rid of the lovely highlight orange for the outline and pale orange for the fill (from my custom course settings) when I click on the Light option. Is this a bug? Or is there a way to have the off-white background on a Note block to match the rest of the course whilst keeping the flash of orange as the outline and fill as well as the little info icon. Attached images show the different settings.
Many thanks for your help.- edeocampoStaff
Hi AllisonRusso-59,
Good day!
The outline color in the Note block on your Rise 360 course depends on the theme you’re using. It’s expected behavior for the highlight or outline to disappear when the Light or Gray color isn’t selected. For example, if you choose Theme, Theme Tint, Dark, Black, or an image background, you’ll notice that the highlight won’t appear.
If you’d like to keep the outline color of the Note block, select the Light or Gray color option under the block’s Style settings.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. I’ll be happy to help!

Thanks for coming back to me. That's such a shame as the highlight really pops but the client doesn't want a white background throughout the course. I can't put the note in with a white background as it jars with the rest of the course. Any chance this could be an upcoming feature where you can change the background of a Note but still keep the highlight?

Hi AllisonRusso-59,
You're very welcome!
I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about the outline/highlight of the Note block.
I’ve shared your feedback with our product team so they can consider adding more options for the Note block’s outline color.
We’ll post any future updates in this thread so everyone stays informed.
Have a wonderful day!
