- When you publish a Storyline course for an LMS/LRS, the program creates a folder with multiple files to "play" the course using html5. It prompts you to select where to put this content on your computer.
- Those files need to be zipped into a "SCORM package," which then gets uploaded to the LMS/LRS. (When it's done publishing the course, Storyline provides a button for zipping it. You can also zip it later if you have the software for that.)
- Storyline submits/stores quiz scores and other data to the LMS. For example, Storyline uses the LMS/LRS to store the suspend/resume data needed when a user exits and the returns to a course.
