Screen Readers and Overlapping Audio

Hello! Can someone please tell me if the highlighted statement from 2020 below is still accurate? I seem to be having inconsistent results. Next, if it IS accurate, the screen reader and audio will still overlap while the screen reader reads the slide title, correct? How is this best handled, please?  (I know about variables, etc. but it seems from this article "stop audio" wouldn't be needed.)

Yes, the statement is likely still accurate. To handle overlapping audio and screen readers:

    1. Pause Audio: Use triggers to stop audio when the screen reader is active.
    2. Test Thoroughly: Check how it works with different screen readers and adjust as needed.

This will help ensure a smoother experience for all users.
