Shadow Effects Missing when I Preview!?

I am finding that for some reason the shadow effect on some shapes (in a group) don't show up on the course when I preview. Is there a reason for this, or a workaround?

I tested the behavior by doing the following but I was unable to replicate the issue you experienced:
- Added an oval shape and a text box with text to your slide
- Changed the fill of the shape to use an image
- Grouped the shape and the text box
- Added a shadow to the group

I'd like to ask a few questions to clarify your experience:
- Was there any difference in how I created the group versus how you did it?
- Can you replicate the issue consistently? If yes, would you mind making a Peek 360 recording of how you're creating your shapes to help us troubleshoot?
For your reference, the shadow I added to my group appeared in the slide preview so we'll need to recreate the issue using your steps to help us understand what's happening.
