Sharing folder in Rise
Hi,
Is it possible for Rise users to share folders? We have a mid-sized team of developers and we would like to store final files in a shared folder structure (for maintenance and translation purposes). Is this possible?
I know you can add collaborators, but can you share folders with a specific group of people like you would share a google folder?

The collaboration aspect needs some love. Shared folders with subfolders, managing collaboration on folder level, these things are no rocket science but default requirements when it comes to teamwork.
What's stopping Articulate from implementing these fundamentals? We're still in trail mode, and this is a real red flag for us. After more than 3 years and so many users asking for it, nothing is in sight. this makes one doubt continuous improvement and consideration of the community - DanielStaten-d9Community Member
I work for a Fortune 100 and Rise is becoming unwieldy. Please listen to your power users and those in large, enterprise organizations. Shared folder structure and organization is critical.

Here's another (second request)! This is still causing us massive issues.

Another MASSIVE vote for better folder sharing or at least a shared folder structure across a team - 33 courses into 8 languages is going to lead to a huge disorganised collaboration nightmare at this rate... :(

Hi, I am also frustrated with regards to the limits on sharing content in a team environment. I would like to add my voice to to this 3 year old thread. Please let us be able to share content at the folder level. It's a huge waste of time to have to go through and share or add collaborators to each course.
Articulate are you able to give us a date as to when this will be done. Bear in mind this thread is three years old now so surely it's time to get it sorted. - PabloVelsquezCommunity Member
Sharing folders is URGENTLY needed, I was shocked that this wasn't possible. This isn't even a feature, it's a must! I can't think of anyone that wouldn't benefit from this.

I just had a chat with the team of Interlake, certified Articulate reseller. They have extendend access to the rise feature roadmap and confirmed that shared folders are on the short list. Keep fingers crossed!

Well fingers crossed this happens but yes - like the rest - I'm pleased this is finally being addressed.
However it took someone to search for it to know. Come on Articulate; you could have easily dropped a message in here to advise us. Don't forget your paying customers that are feeding you the improvements you need in order to generate more paying customers!

Jumping in to request folder share capabilities. Our team will use the Rise cloud storage to organize and share the content. Having the ability to organize our content in folders and share them with the team will not only enhance productivity while working on the project but is very important for later reference existing materials. We are constantly updating our content and need the ability to give everyone on the team visibility into what exists on the Rise server.
Thanks for the feedback, Julie! I'll add your voice to this request.

Rise is a great authoring tool, but it amazes me how many basic things like shared team folders are missing.
