Hi, Is it possible for Rise users to share folders? We have a mid-sized team of developers and we would like to store final files in a shared folder structure (for maintenance and translation purposes). Is this possible? I know you can add collaborators, but can you share folders with a specific group of people like you would share a google folder?

It is baffling that - three years on - this is still being requested. Articulate, we love Rise but your focus is at times questionable. Thousands of templates no one asked for, a release this week that caused serious issues and headaches for multiple users (only turned round in 24 hours because some of us shouted VERY loudly and threatened to cancel). We appreciate the design improvements, but when you've got 20+ users and 7,000 lessons like we have (and I'm sure many others have this and more!), why can you not see that Admin tools that improve workflow and sharing would be far more appreciated than a new heading design? Unless of course you're willing to add a new member of my team to all 7k lessons. Decisions like this really do make me question our subscription.

Can you please at least name a reason for ignoring this essential feature over years? That would help to decide if it's worth waiting for it or better switch to another platform

It's hard to believe it's been 4 years since I wrote this post. Please take the voice of your customers seriously. It's clear a lot of us leaders in the business are lacking this critical functionality.

Serioulsy, I'm with everyone on that one- it has been 4 years since we all started requesting that feature. it's not a "good-to-have' feature, its a mandatory one. We just hired someone new in our team, and now I need to go in all our +300 courses indivudually and add that peron to them... it's not viable. Why it has not been implemented yet?

You're still tracking requests?! People have been asking/begging for this for FOUR YEARS! This is not a small feature request, this is a fundamental issue with sharing of projects within a team, an issue that costs companies time and money in wasted hours. Please don't be like Microsoft. This issue should be your #1 priority.

Adding to this. Would love to see this feature because what happens to a Rise Source when the original creator of it leaves the company and I need to turn off his or her 360 Team Account?

Does that Rise course disappear with them?

  Before someone leaves or you turn off their subscription, it's a good idea to have them transfer ownership of their courses to another team member.
  
  If you don't, we'll still keep their courses on our servers for at least six months after their subscription expires. Here's more information on how that all works.

Any updates on this?? Our RISE list just keeps growing and we would like to put more and more courses but it is so difficult to navigate just a list!!

Saw that post and was super happy to read that the Rise team was working on that process.. then Isaw this request had been made about a year ago...

SO, I want to add my voice to the people that would REALLY love to have this function. We are 15 Designer in my team, and currently it's a real pain to share files. If we could only assigned the share to specific folder and all files move to that folder would be share instantly that would be amazing!

I know this is old... but we've just stumbled on this issue. Each member in our team will be creating over a dozen courses over the next 6 months. And we need to share access between team members and keep them organized for each other. Sharing folders would be pretty essential to this.

Not only can you not share folders, but if you're a collaborator on a course, and that course is owned by someone else, you can't put it in a folder in your account for your own organizational sanity. Be prepared to use a lot of CTRL+F!

I agree we are getting desperate for a shared folder structure! We use CTRL + F within the browser to find courses and it's frustrating from an admin perspective! We really need this feature ASAP in Rise!
