SL360 - Pasted graphics appear correctly in the editor, but publish corrupted

Storyline 360 (fully updated)

Windows 11 Enterprise (fully updated)

 

Images copied from Powerpoint and Pasted into SL360 appear correctly in the editor. However, when Preview or Publishing, every image in the deck presents a cropped piece of the image on Slide 1.

Screen shots and inserted graphics are producing properly.

Has anyone run into this? Is there a way to fix it short of remaking 30 slides?

    upload a .story file with one affected image

    Info: if you want the best quality images from PPT

    • rename the [powerpoint].pptx -> [powerpoint].zip
    • expand [powerpoint].zip to folder



    -> in folder ppt/media/ are all images in the original quality (but the original filenames are lost)
