Text Scrollbars Error Message
Hello,
I'm reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced this issue in Storyline 360 today. I've had two .story files become corrupted and unable to be opened due to a Text Scrollbar issue; the file is stating that I have text scrollbar features included in my project when I have nothing of the sort; the error message asks me to download and install the latest update for Storyline but I am up to date. This is causing me to lose hours of my work! Is anyone else experiencing this? How did you fix it?
I've attached a screenshot of the error, as well as a copy of my .story file in case anyone has any suggestions.

Hi Everyone,
Apologies for the scare in the last update! I just wanted to chime in here and let you know that we released an update for Storyline 360 that fixes the issue where:Project files wouldn't open after adding a result slide due to an error with text scrollbars.Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and either Check for Updates in the drop-down next to your profile or click the Update button for each application. Yes - I have also received this error today. In another post, a staff member commented that they are working on a resolution, so it must be a wide spread problem. Hoping my work is not lost as well. Good luck!

I just wanted to chime in and share that our team has spotted this error as well. I'm really sorry if this is slowing you down!
We're working on a fix and will pop back in when there's an update to share. In the meantime, if you need help, please share your .story file with our support team, and they can lend a hand.

Responded to a similar post and chiming in here as well. We encountered the same issue, but only with files created/saved in the last 12 hours. As with everyone else, I'm hoping we don't lose the work altogether...we're talking 20+ files we can't afford to redo.

Update: Seems to only affect those with version 3.48.24116.0. Team members who have not yet updated to this version do not encounter the error when saving their *.story files but they are unable to open *.story files saved using the new version.

This is the third thread on the matter. Articulate, we have deadlines and multiple deliveries to get through. We need a resolution today.

We are having this same issue! I'm afraid to open any of my files now for fear that we will get locked out.

Update: We found that quizzes created on the newest update freeze when reviewing your answers. This happens both when previewing a project and when published.
Rolled back to a previous version and the issue no longer occurs. BUT, files already saved in the latest version still cannot be opened. Good temporary solution though if you absolutely need to start a new project.

Received another response from my ticket I had opened. They are working on it, it does have to do with the results slide in particular. Creating files without quizzes/results slides should work fine. Hoping a fix comes soon.
