Transfer of Licensing from Local to Centralized
Hi DeeptiMishra-ec,
I'm more than happy to help here!
When a subscription expires, you'll no longer have access to Rise 360 to create, edit, or publish content. You'll want to be sure to export courses as web or LMS packages before the subscription expiration date. If you want other Rise 360 authors to edit or publish your courses after you no longer have access, you can send copies of your files to other Articulate 360 subscribers, or, you can transfer ownership of your courses to other Articulate 360 Teams subscribers before your subscription expires.
We'll keep your online data—including Rise 360 content, question banks, and block templates—intact up to six months after your paid subscription expires. Rise 360 content is linked to your Articulate ID, so if you're added to a team with the same Articulate ID, within those six months, your content should still be there. Here's a helpful resource on what to do before canceling your subscription or letting it expire.
If there's no lapse in the subscription, you won't have to worry about your content! The account owner will remain the same unless requested to be changed. They're the person who bought the subscription, is responsible for billing management, and is the only one who can buy more seats. The account owner is also an account admin, so they can manage all users, groups, and admins for the whole team. Here's a breakdown of roles and permission on an Articulate 360 team.
Lastly, if your current subscription does expire, it will be up to the new account owner to assign admins and seat holders to the team. If you have any questions on your subscription, I recommend reaching out to your account admin for details. I hope this helps!
