Transfer Rise source files to someone without an Articulate licence
This continues to be a major issue with Articulate. I was just reading a thread about this same topic (with many, many replies) from 7 or 8 years ago. I'm amazed that Articulate is not willing to address this, and ultimately, you have to think that they are ignoring it so that they can keep subscription revenue high. Think about all the wasted subscription fees inactive customers are paying just to keep control over their files, even when their organizations or clients may not be engaged in active course development. Or of all the Articulate users who have mistakenly allowed their subscriptions to lapse, maybe because of a changed credit card number, or lack of funds, and after six months or so, their files (and all the hard work it took to create them) are GONE. Finally, think about all the corporations who simply cannot consider using Articulate because their policies require that they have ownership and control of their source files. It wouldn't be difficult for Articulate to allow downloading of source files for safekeeping while limiting editing to active subscription holders.
I have really enjoyed using Articulate products for the past 10 years or so, but this kind of ignorant and selfish policy has made me start looking for alternatives.
