Translation issue

I have a translation issue that I hope someone can help with.

I exported a Word file for translation, the translated text was added into the translation box. When I import the Translated Word document back into Storyline, the translated text appears next to the original English text. So it is being inserted into the correct place, but is being added to the text and not replacing it.

Any ideas please - see the attached screenshot for an example.
