TRUE OR FALSE SCORE
I want to create two slides with 5 questions each of true and false, and then also have a results slide after you submit the answers to both of them with the complete score, but I don't seem to find the way to do it. I tried to did it by marking as the correct answers the specific check boxes you have to click, but then the points in the results slide doesn't match with the reality. I'm not sure what to try. I will attach an example.
Someone can help me?

Hi, Irene, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ✨
Thank you for sharing your .story file! You're definitely on the right track!
Here are my suggestions for what you're looking for:
- Change the trigger for each question slide: instead of jumping to the next slide, submit the interaction when the user clicks the button.
- Create Button sets - select both radio buttons (true and false) for each line, right-click, choose Button Set, then New Set. This will make sure the user can only select one of each.

Hello Maria!
It works! Thank you!!
Now I have another problem. I have a layer in between that marks which ones were right and wrong with drawings, well there are 32 layers with all the possible options you can get with the 5 questions of true and false (I attach an example of it). Is there a way to submit the interaction but still go to these pages? So the results page will go after one of these layers. Now the other problem, is that when one of them is wrong you have to do it again until you get it right, but I want it to keep it going independently of the results.
And in the results slide count with the total it doesn't seem to match the actual right answers, for example, if you have 3 / 5 in one slide and 5 /5 in the other, the sum should give 8 (80%), but I get a different result.
I hope I explained myself well :)

Hi, Irene.
I'm so glad it worked for you!
The pick many interaction you are using is "all or nothing". The user will either get 0% or 100% when submitting the interaction, which is why your Results layer is not considering a partial score. If you want to calculate each item separately, you will need to use variables to calculate each question.
Since you already have all the layers designed, it will save you some time. You can create two variables: let's call them partialresults1 and partialresults2. On each layer of slide one, change the variable to match the correct answers.
Then do the same thing for the layers in the second slide.
On your results slide, you can calculate the total results. You can do this by adding two other variables: total and percentage.
You also asked about attempts. Right now, you set the question to unlimited, which is why they have to keep trying until all questions are correct. If you change it to one attempt, it should solve that issue.
I am attaching the edited file that I worked on - I added the points to the first 5 layers of each slide to test it. A couple of extra thoughts:
- Since you're doing your own feedback, I would remove the feedback layers (Correct / Incorrect) from both slides.
- On your second slide, I think a few of the layers are not matching the selected responses.
Let me know if this works!

Hello again!
Thanks for your reply!
The first slide works, but when I incorrectly answer some questions on the second slide, the results don't count.
That is, if I answer 5/5 on the first slide but on the second I answer 3/5 it does not work, always shows 50% (it does not add 3 correct = 80%)I hope I explained myself well :)

Hi, Irina!
This is likely happening because of two things:
- I only added the variable count to the first 5 layers of each slide, so if the combination is in a different layer, it won't work. You need to add the trigger to each of the remaining 27 layers.
- As I mentioned above, I think your layers are not matching the selection on the second slide. Take a look at this example:
- your answers in form view show that the correct buttons are 1, 4, 5, 7, and 10.
- you have a trigger that shows layer 1 when the following buttons are selected:
- However, layer 1 shows all the selections are correct, which shouldn't be the case:
Let me know if this makes sense!

The true options are 1,3,5,8,9, I put them wrong in the example that I have shared with you, sorry.
I have made the layers with their corresponding trigger (I attach images), that is why I do not understand why it does not count in the end, I think there is something that makes this function not work.
Could it be that hitting the "skip to next slide" button causes the "send pick many" button to lose its functionality? (I have it set as a test in layer 30, I attach an image)
thanks for helping!

Hi, Irene.
I'm enjoying the challenge on this one, so thank you!
I believe the layer mismatch was the issue with the calculation in the end. I am attaching the file after I corrected the options on the second slide. I also added the variable to the other layers, and it seems to be working now.
Let me know if it works for you!

Hi Maria
I'm glad you're enjoying this!
It works, you're amazing!
But now even though the percentage is right it always shows the failed layer. I tried several variables but even if the result is over the percentage or total I mark as good enough to pass, it still shows the layer of when you fail.I attach images

I just verified that when I answer all right so that the result is approved, it takes me to the failed slide, but when I click the retry button without changing any answer, and then advance to the results page again, I get the approved layer.
Why is this happening?
And when I try to correct T/F slides, I can't move my selection. I tried changing the attempts to 5 tries but it didn't work
I'm getting crazy hahaha
If you need I can send you a private video

Hi, Irene!
The order of triggers is important here. Since you're telling Storyline to show the layers first, before you calculate the percentage variable, it doesn't know the value of that variable yet.
You can move the "Mostrar capa Aprobado" and "Mostrar capa Suspendido" triggers below the calculation by using the arrows:
You're welcome to send me the .story file or a video privately through here, and we can continue the conversation through there!
