Undo Function in RISE
Any further word on recovering blocks that are accidentally deleted? I am creating my first RISE course and I'm astounded that there doesn't seem to be a way to "undo" a mistake...a function that is common to virutally EVERY program out there! Thanks...
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update adds the following feature:
- Save and restore your work with a click via an easy-to-access version list that captures manual saves and export events.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available. Let me know if you have any questions about this update.

Three years and no movement on this?

Seriously
Hi Julie! Switching the block type back to Note should bring the text back. Smart idea to copy the text from Review 360, too!

I am really surprised this doesn't have a resolution as I found a similar post from three years ago. Maybe it could ask if I am sure before deleting whole blocks? I just went to delete a skinny divider but accidently deleted an entire block of text below it that I just spent days fine tuning. This seems like a basic function and a mistake that probably happens frequently. I deleted a block once before when trying to move it up the page. Luckily it was a small one that was easy to recreate.

How incredibly frustrating. I just lost a full afternoon of work due to this poor UI.
I even knew about the undo button... ... but it was only present for two seconds ... .. and I missed my window to click it.
Big thumbs down. - MoriahKentCommunity Member
And a note: control or command z on a mac is about 50% reliable. I echo that this is an oversight that needs to be addresses ASAP.

+1 for this functionality that is CRITICAL to any technology - we're human and mistakes happen. UGH!!!
- Hi everyone! We've improved the visibility and functionality of the undo notification that appears when you delete blocks and lessons.
The new undo notification appears for 12 seconds with a timer indicator. If you need longer than 12 seconds, hover your mouse over the notification to pause the timer. You'll also see multiple notifications when more than one block is deleted.
Let us know if you have any questions about this enhancement!- FraserHawkin864Community Member
I have a question: when will this be replaced with an actual undo feature?

A permanent undo feature is definitely needed.

I'm curious why it takes over 3 years to incorporate a bog-standard function.
